So I tried the Garland theme drop down mod as found here http://drupal.org/node/190263 but it did not work for me. I need a good orange theme to match an organisations colours. Can anyone direct me in the way of a theme that will let me have the hover over expanding menus and that I can easily colour orange (like Garland's colour adjuster)?
Or can anyone tell me how to get Garland working with the drop down menus?

have you look at using nice menus?

Yeah, check out the nice_menus module. It allows to make a drop-down menu easily (or drop-line, slide-left menu, etc).

If you want to see it at work check out this site: www.pracownia-n22.pl

The menu sub items are easily administered via administration section.

I did look at nice menus but not being a coder I didn't know how to make them look, well, nice. They look chunky and out of place IMO.
