Facebook-style Micropublisher uses a flexible and pluggable architecture to provide support for publishing various kind of content. FBSMP provides the basic architecture, API and hooks using which various plugins allow users to publish any type of content (such as links, images, videos, audios, ppts, etc).
FBSMP provides link, photo, video and document plugins "out of the box". These plugins integrate with more modules such as ImageCache, Emfield, Lightbox2, ShadowBox, etc along with those listed here.
