Why can't the module also cater the role?

This module has just started so suggestions are encouraged. For our use case, initially the role simply did not matter because we are working with anonymous users who dont have a role to begin with. An explanation of what roles you think should be evaluated would be ideal as well as a "use case" for an example so we could see if its something we could do without to much trouble. Roles on the user or roles on the node. Anonymous users dont have roles and this is the user this module was originally geared towards (for premium content of unsubscribed users).

This issue is few years old and features of this module Views has it built-in by default now (Disable SQL rewriting).
