Adding audio to playlist that resides on server and alocating to podcast

Issue Summary

Hello
I have created a large audio file (42 meg) which would not upload via the podcast module due to the size restrictions so, I uploaded it manually via FTP with the understanding that I could create/edit the playlist that the module makes.
The problem I have is this:
The playlist module is installed and enabled under Administer>>Modules
Permissions are granted within Administer>>Access Control
As I understand it, I should be able to edit/add to the playlist under the Create content link. However, the playlist link under Create Content is not there.
Can I get some help diagnosing this issue?
