Portrait pictures do not crop properly, and leave a black box

Great module, thank you very much for developing it.

What I'm finding is that Portrait images are not being cropped, and they are getting surrounded by a black box. If you see from the two pictures I attached, the first shows the area I'm cropping, and the second shows the result is not being cropped.

Landscape pictures work perfectly.
