I love this module and got it to work flawlessly in another site prior to installing it on another. No matter how I install it, the order and configurations of all its dependencies, I continue to get this error after activating the Meetings "feature" through "Features" or directly in the modules list - Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home/yopoti/public_html/sites/all/modules/meetings/meetings.module on line 405.

I finally resolved the issue. The site that had Meetings functioning correctly, had Notifications Team UI 6.x-2.1-beta8. The newer site had Notifications Team UI 6.x-3.x-dev. I uninstalled the 3.x-dev version, then installed the beta8 version, and it worked like a champ!

"Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /meetings/meetings.module on line 409"

I just got this error on trying to activate the module, after I hit the button to process the activation. Correction: it might be after update.php, or also at that screen.

Meetings 6.x-1.0-alpha3 Allows for the creation and management of meetings including agendas, notes, invitations, attendance, time, location, and more. (Code Review)
Depende de: Content (activado), Chaos tools (activado), Date (activado), Date Popup (activado), Features (activado), FileField (activado), jQuery UI (activado), Notifications Team UI (desactivado), Strongarm (activado), Text (activado), Token (activado), Views (activado), Voting API (activado), Date API (activado), Date Timezone (activado), Content Notifications (activado), Notifications Views (desactivado), Notifications (activado), Messaging (activado), Text templates (activado), Autoload (activado)

I see 2 in the list that might need to be activated first, but that is what Drupal normally automatically sorts out...

@clearXS - Can you please make sure you have Notifications Team UI 6.x-3.x-dev installed and enabled? Let me know if the problem still occurs at that point. If not, we should close this issue.

If anyone else has enabled the module and had dependencies not automatically enable, please let me know.

Thanks!

It happens with me also, when having Notifications Team UI 6.x-3.x-dev installed

I am closing this issue, since it's for a Drupal version no longer supported.
