Have you ever thought to integrate with Inline API? 2.x branch provides a way to define your tags. I reckon that having the modules like yours relying on a common API it'd be great. Plus, this way users don't have to have several different input filters enabled for each one of the module that has its own "filter tag".

Cheers,

V.

Hello again.
Just for the record, I am doing this regardless, as here at The Economist we want to keep all these kind of inline tags relying on a uniform API, and we've chosen Inline API 2.x to do that.

If you are interested in integrating it, give me a shout.

Cheers,

Vincenzo

Hey Vincenzo,

Sorry for my late reply. I'd be very interested in seing what you've done with the Inline API integration. I haven't used it myself yet, but will take a look.
