Changing icons

Is there a way to change icons in dashboard region (and others)? It seems that custom icons option is for navigation only.
In attached screenshot I managed to replace backup and migrate module by uploading icon directly to rootcandy icons folder and changing file name to follow other icons naming scheme. But is it possible to have an option like for navigation icons to achieve this goal?
