Huge list of generic /node references at end of XML file

Installed latest version of the module on Drupal 4.7.3, but on the final of the generated XML i get a huge list (300+ ?) of generic "/node" references like the following:

<url>
<loc>http://www.mysite.com/node/</loc>
<changefreq>always</changefreq>
</url>

I make extensive use of Pathauto and Views modules, could this be the cause?
