MTS is a common extension for AVCHD video (used, at least, on popular Panasonic models). I've added in the config area the following MIME type, which I am not sure is correct but works:
[mts, video/avchd, 0]

YMMV but in my case a lot of MTS files had the mime type 'application/octetstream' instead.
