In my project for forgot password when i have reseed the password,account activation mail is coming for user(Which would be coming at activation time).It should not come at password reset,What should i do?

While resting the password by forgot password.The drupal site sends the activation mail to the user who is already a active user of the site.My scope is to prevent it

If you reset your password, Drupal has to send the user an email about how to reset the password. You can't just have the system reset it - then any person could access any account.

Have you used Drupal before? This doesn't seem to be isn't a Commons-specific issue.
