Accepting in-Kind Donations of Software Development

Help Save the Artists Before it's Too Late!

911 Media Arts Center (www.911media.org ) is a
22-year-old Seattle non-profit supporting digital media artists. Our members
are filmmakers, installation artists, audio outlaws and new media
experimenters.

We Are Building a New Website Using Drupal and we need help to finish off
the remaining technical tasks. Many of us are volunteers who want to help
out but don't have the technical skills. Our staff is busy creating an
amazing community of artists and they need our help. They need tools!

We have created the information architecture, the design, the content and we
have 22 years worth of video, stills, audio and tons & tons of amazing art.
We want to share it with the world. We've built the basic site.

But, alas, we need Software Development Assistance!

Specifically, we need a digital hero who can provide mad skills such as:

- PHP

- MySQL

- Automated equipment rentals - we have it designed, Drupal has
great tools but we need to tweak 'em a little

- Discounts and varied pricing for our Workshops. We have taught
hundreds of independent media artists who sign up for our classes. Members
get discounts. Again, Drupal has great tools, but we need some tweaks to
make it work with our particular organization

We are good folk. We are fun to work with, professional and creative. The
arts center is an amazing place with dynamic events. We want to bring this
energy to the web and we want YOU to be part of it. We will consider trade
for equipment and/or space use and/or tickets for film screenings. All work
is for a 501c3 non-profit and we can provide documentation for Uncle
Sam/Taxman. Pick up the phone and give us a call.
