Yo Drupal Ninjaz,
I'm looking for a good VPS solution for a ton of drupal sites I manage. I've sorta come down to InMotion vs. Rackspace.

Rackspace looks great but seems very expensive and very big so I would imagine their customer service is that of any big company, meaning not good.

InMotion is local to the US and have some great testimonials about their customer service. Not like fake testimonials either. Kind of like this one http://drupal.org/node/546666M

Anyone care to chime in here with a vote to help me make this decision?

Your commentary would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!

I agree with you that InMotion have some great testimonials about their customer service. Not only do they utilize the best possible equipment for speed and reliability, they also provide their staff with extensive training to support each and every customer to the best of their ability. What is really remarkable is the philosophy In Motion Hosting instills. In Motion coaches their support staff to take extra time on a call if need be and to be more than sure they have given the customer their fullest attention with the right information. If that's not enough, you get free and efficient setup, at least 2 dedicated IP addresses and custom firewalls. To put in a nutshell, InMotion VPS is your choice if support and reliability are primary concerns.
And regarding Rackspace, great everything if you don't go through much data traffic. Data traffic overages add up pretty fast if you do. If you claim that you have a ton of drupal sites I recommend Inmotion.
