When editing a new page and setting the path, once save is selected, I received a 404 not found page indicating that the requested URL /admin/content was not found on this server. I was able to repeat this and get the same error 3 times. I was able to then go back to my site root and select content and the content was displayed.

1° Are clean urls active on your site?
If no, this is certainly a duplicate of #13594: Fix 404 handling without clean URLs
2° Please update the issue with the version of drupal you're using
