Hi Elia,

Im wondering if you could briefly explain the shared logins you do in com2vb. It seems this is exactly what the module Drupal VB set out to achieve, so what made you write your own code?

It would be good to have differences in these modules documented.

Hopefully you can shed some of your knowledge,

Hello Tom,

You are rigth. Shared login in COM2VB module are similar to Drupalvb and based on code from vBulletin too.
Both COM2VB & Drupalvb uses "translation" table with user's id from Drupal & vBulletin. During login in Drupal both modules get information from vbulletin with this table and make correspondent changes in vBulletin's cookies & tables.
In future I plane add a support for vBulletin's users groups in Drupal - they will be translated in runtime.

Have you considered sharing development of common features across projects? (Like shared logins via translation table!!)

It could reduce maintenance involved, and help focus development on new features for the community?

Thanks for the reply, I tried to contact you by email recently through your Drupal profile, and I'm not sure whether you got it?

Could you please reply or send me an email through my Drupal profile?
