I'm creating a new issue about integrating this module with Ubercart. This should be interesting as alot of webhost providers that is using Drupal will benefit from it.
For any hosting provider websites, I don't see any use of this module being implemented if users are not able to purchase it straight after querying whois.
There is already a Registrar module (http://drupal.org/project/registrar_api) and the maintainer is planning to integrate it with Ubercart, maybe you guys could work on this effort together?
