Hi

Im having trouble upgrading a local site from 6.17 to 6.19 Im using Acquia Drupal, have followed the acquia provided instructions exactly, and also tried the instructions as per UPGRADE.txt

Mac OS 10.5.8

When running update.php the progress bar goes very quick and 0 of 0 displays under it. Following that when i go to access many pages i get white error pages with the following message:

Not Found

The requested URL /admin/settings/site-maintenance was not found on this server.

Any suggestions? When i put the original folders back the site works perfectly.

Thanks
Mary

Disable Clean URL's before upgrading - i disabled clean URL's at
admin/settings/clean-urls

then replaced the folders, ran update.php and everything is working.

only problem now is when i try to enable clean URL's again, a message says
"Your system configuration does not currently support this feature"

so now a different problem to solve!

This sounds very similar to problems I'm having after upgrading from 6.15 to 6.19 (and also trying to install the webform module). I got white screens when running update.php and also when activating or deactivating a module.

I didn't disable Clean URLs but now can't access anything. I get access denied for all the /admin pages and Page Not Found for all the menu item links (or nothing happens at all when you click a content item). The front page of my site appears to load ok but none of the links work (www.philhart.com).

Is there anything I can do to recover the situation?
