Convert LinksManager.com data to Drupal lnks managemet system

I'm in the process of re-building www.GayRites.NET in Drupal, with a lot of help from a friend overseas. (The developmental site is here: http://67.15.172.12/~gayrites.) My friend is having difficulty converting the data from the paid service I now use to manage reciprocal linking on the live site, LinksManager.com. The live links directory on the current site is here: http://www.gayrites.net/links/links_menu.asp. This service is awesome but expensive so I want to convert all of the current links data to Drupal in a way that provides all or most of the functionality of the third-party service. This includes the ability for people to submit listings including graphics, to manage their own listings via password, the ability to retrieve their passwords via a "forgotten password" function, placing submissions in queue for me to approve before going live, verifying reciprocal links, sending reminder emails that "we can't locate your reciprocal link, etc. Currently, I have the links organized by category (bakeries, wedding officiants, DJs, etc.) because links manager charges by the number of categories. Ideally, I would be able also to make the links available on a geographic basis, so that people could search, say, for officiants in Massachusetts or a wedding location in Australia. LinksManager.com can output an Excel spreadsheet of my current links data so I imagine for someone who is intimate with the Drupal links management mods, it should be relatively easy to replicate the functionality of the paid service and import the existing data. In the future, I may want to make this directory of a links a paid service so that if the conversion could be done with that in mind for the future, that would be awesome. If you have the skills to help me with this, please contact me directly at DavidKirk@thePRguy.com so we can initiate a conversation about specs and cost. (If we have not corresponded before, you will receive a challenge email from Sparmarrest.com). I look forward to hearing from you!
