I am trying to create a website such as https://echo.newtechnetwork.org/ which uses drupal (believe it or not xD)
It would be basically the same thing as that because I need to manage many schools (5+) and each one of them can have their own google apps email which should be organized in it (lets say an '@thisschool.com creates an account and adds classes wont be interfered by '@anotherschool.com') and should have an integration for google apps in the website (docs, email, chat, calendar)
I also would need a grade system and events with notifications (check grades and such) and dates for homeworks and others (posted by teachers)
Students should easily be able to log on, see grades on one box (module, which when clicked opens a page with all the grades from all year)
then be able to see emails from google apps, events and their google docs documents. This should also include a page for 'editors' (teachers) to be able to add a new comment for everyday/week.
Keep in mind the students from different schools should not ever bump into each other (because they have different classes, meaning I dont have a kid from "Bob's junior high" getting notifications from his math class from "Another Junior high"
