You have a form in page.tpl.php for if ($search_box) but instead of the form you should just have print $search_box because your form does not work 100% but print $search_box does work fine. Check bluemarine $search_box for more info and a working example! I updated http://www.teg.name and am using a version of your theme ... it's great!
