This release is mostly bug fixes but there is one important change: Contributors are now optional, and they won't be available as fields directly when you install for instance NS Article. Go to admin => structure => extensions and enable them there to get the fields. The settings for which extensions you enable is exportable, look under default config optionals in features.

This update contains numerous updates. Most importantly: We moved variables and fields from features and we upgraded media module. We also replaced all media fields with file fields.

An upgrade path is provided, you have to use the Registry rebuild to get the install working again though.

Upgrading between alpha versions isn't supported.

Fixes several issues with the installation process.
All the core features is moved into one separate project.
The base theme is moved into a separate project.
The WYSIWYG-support is now removed. (Input formats was never designed to be exportable and it worked very quirky).
Functionality now gracefully degrades if the jQuery UI library isn't available during the install process
