alexpottHi mogop,
Is your website available online? Can you post or send me via my contact form the link? Then I can take a look at what's happening in the javascript and css and work out what is going on...
Regards,
Alex

dag729 commentedSame problem here (not online too).
I tried to disable DHTML menu, since I thought it could be the cause, to no avail.
I noticed that the DHTML menu features (collapse the parent link when clicked, leave only one chunk of menu opened at the time, etc) are invisible when used in the floating block, but are reflected to the "original" block.
If you need more infos about, please let me know.

alexpottHi dag729 and mogop
I think I two things to help you
1. What theme you are using or if you've made the the theme yourself send me a copy.
2. What you've entered into the settings form for this module.
Thanks
Alex

dag729 commentedTheme used: Danblog (it's a Danland subtheme)
Settings entered: ...I can't remember, sorry. Right after I encountered the problem (and a little troubleshooting) I disabled the module and I submitted the issue for you to know.
Fortunately I was testing it on my local server before installing it on the production host, since perhaps now we'll figure out where the problem is.
If you are sure, but truly, really, sincerely...really really really really really sure that it won't break anything, I could try and install it again on the production site to see what happens.
Just let me know (got it? really really really really really really!!! :D)
Thanks for taking care of this almost abandoned great project!
Dag

alexpottRelease new version of Floating Block (6.x-1.2) to fix this issue. There was a pretty obvious bug in my javascript - I'd left some hard-coding in so it would only work on certain sites. Thanks for the bug report.
I've also created a demo site to show the module in action and working - http://dev.vit-al.co.uk/floating_block
