Future plans

This documentation concerns NodeStream Alpha1 and needs updating.

There are many plans on how to extend NodeStream. Several of the listed features have been experimentally implemented, but are not yet ready to be included in the release.

• Simpletests should be extended to allow more rapid and stable development.
• Near-realtime statistics should be included to allow editors to be more responsive to activity on the website.
• True content staging should be developed, allowing editors to preview any part of the website before deploying changes to the live site.
• Promos should be automatically created and updated, to reduce the manual work.
• Automated tagging should be introduced, integrating with the Swedish and English text-analysis provider Saplo.
