barrya commentedThe other post is a bug report, this is a feature request. You will notice that I included that this message should be customisable by admin. This is not mentioned or discussed in the bug report and would involve more code that the simple fix that the other post contained, therefore in my opinion this was a valid post.
The other suggested a fix to a bug, and this one is requesting a new feature - the ability for admin to manage the message displayed to the user.

1kenthomas commentedOh YHWH. Please don't be difficult. Please go over there and add your request; after all, at this point, it looks like NancyDRU or I would be the most likely people to be responding to it and writing code.
Reclosing; essentially a duplicate; we can best handle with as few tickets open as necessary; NancyDRU is free to disagree with me, but closing for now. Thanks!

barrya commentedNot trying to be awkward or difficult. I just felt it warranted a seperate post, especially as this was something I was looking to work on when I get time.
I'll add it to the other issue as requested.
Apologies.

barrya commentedFollowing discussion with NanryDru on this, I am repoening this as this is a new feature to the user. See http://drupal.org/node/728048#comment-3494512 for more information.

nancydruThis is a separate issue from #728048: 'Badges' tab in user profile results in empty page. The other issue is against the admin function. This feature request is for the User Experience. Since one could do either or both, it warrants a separate issue. Thank you, Barrya, for re-opening this.
