To collaborate with others to define the content types, leading the building of them where appropriate, and assuring the building of them by others where appropriate
To collaborate with others in the definition of the types of page layouts and to lead the configuration of the individual cases. Delegating work where appropriate and performing it directly where appropriate
To collaborate with the content migration lead around how they migrate the content into the site pages configured, ensuring that the pages are available in good time for the migration in each environment
To collaborate with the SEO team during the migration to ensure that links are not broken inside the new sites, that the necessary 301 redirects are in place and that the new sites follow good SEO practice for each release
To collaborate with others to define the approach to the navigational structure, including menus, hierarchies and taxonomies, and then to lead the configuration in the sites needed. Delegating work where appropriate and performing it directly where appropriate
To develop and implement standard solutions for complex page types, images, documents and anything else requiring a common approach.
To liaise with senior Drupal developers who are either directly developing the components, themes, templates, modules and scripts or are allocating the work to their teams, and to liaise with the testing on the test cases and the testing phases of the project
To configure pages to ‘integrate’ SaaS or “white label” applications within the site’s structure and liaise with the suppliers as required to do so
To integrate bespoke applications with the site and liaise with developers who will develop those applications as required to do so
To document all of the above solutions
To brief and guide the content migration staff accordingly so that content is migrated as required for the new site
To liaise with other programme teams to ensure that there are no gaps or overlaps in the activities required to deliver the new site.
