At the moment, comment only for node entity. Can we make it available for all entity type?

As written in the Taxonomy section of http://drupal.org/node/707832, there still is a lot of work to do for the concept of entities to become fully generic.

That includes your request of being able to comment on anything.

Looking forward to working on it in... Drupal 8 ! :c)

Subscribe. IMO, the best way to proceed is to write a D7 contrib module that adds this functionality, then work on getting it into D8 core. I don't have time right now to start such a project, but I hope someone does. If someone does, please post a link to it here. Thanks!

+ alot from me. I'm open to write this as a contrib module for D7 first so we can merge this into core. Shouldn't be that hard imo.
