Create a content type that contains equipment that would be used in the exercises. Modify the exercises to allow selection of zero or more equipment pieces.

This could be an optional component to the Exercise Planner. If it's not enabled then the exercise contains nothing for the equipment field or it doesn't show up on the content page.
