Maestro does not yet support assignment of tasks by role or organic group. This is planned for post alpha1 release.

Tasks should be able to be assigned to multiple users via a role or group. Combination of assignment types can be used so a task can be assigned by user, process variable, role and group - all evaluated users will receive the task in their task console. Need a way for one of the assigned users to grab the task and for the other users to know it's been taken but for it too still appear in their task console but disabled. Having a way for users to hide these tasks would be a nice option.

I'm very interested in this functionality and would love to see it implemented. As soon as it's available I'll test it for you. Sounds great (and I definitely noticed the disabled drop downs, so enticing).

Just finished porting this functionality to CVS. The feature will be available when the bot recompiles the dev snapshot tonight.
