I would like to use openpublish to manage a publication site that we are deploying, but a lot of our content syndicators(sp) provide us full access to their published content via FTP (with username and Login) resulting in a complete XML file that we can query against to retrieve the data and stories we want on our site. I can't seem to find a way using openpublish, connect via FTP and ingest the resulting XML so that I can create the appropriate nodes on the openpublish site. I have been all up and down the web and drupal.org and there appears to be little or no documentation on this.

In our experience, dealing with content publishers, the connection to the published data via FTP seems to be common place. I was wondering if I am overlooking something in the installation of OpenPublish that can help me? Have you heard of this before and how are you addressing it?
