I got the following message when trying to contact you through the Contact Carl link, so not sure if it went through: "Error message Unable to send e-mail. Contact the site administrator if the problem persists."

Anyway, one feature that I think would make it a little more craigslist-like would be the ability to hide your personal information. My thoughts are that if would be great if a person could make a post or comment just by supplying an email address, and it would then create an account for that user. Users of course can then be contacted through the contact form, therefore never having to reveal their email address.

A new version of the craigslist clone is now here.

I used the Contact Carl link on the site to try to request a copy of this module to see if it would work on a site that I am building. The contact form did work, but sadly I received an email from a friend of Carl's that explained that Carl has passed away. Which is very sad. He also said that he would not be able to help me because he was not very tech savvy.

To anyone else looking for the module, I don't know that making the request as posted here would help you.

If anyone else had received the module and still has a copy of it, I would really appreciate it if you could send it to me, or post if you are able to send it to anyone.

I'm very orry to hear of Carl's passing. Since I worked with him very closely during the development of the CL Clone module, I have a copy of it. If someone needs the version of the module as it's shown here

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this briefly and was not successful. If you or someone else wants to take on this initiative and see it through, that would be great. In the meanwhile, I've been successfully sending the module out by e-mail.
