I created a new sort criteria to sort locations by proximity centered at Distance/Proximity argument.
However, I can not make sure that I have made a good approach because I am unfamilar with drupal codes.

Thanks for this great start!

The patch applied just fine for me, but it didn't successfully sort my view results. I was using Zip Code, not Lat/Long; I don't know if that makes a difference.

I think it needs more testing and a few fixes, but it's a great idea.

For me, it works really great.
I'm using it with a LatLong argument.

I also suggest another patch, to have a field with distance, using argument and not filter.
