My name is Christoffer and I'm from Sweden and is 22 years old and studying to computer engineer.
I have developed many different modules to Drupal 6 over de last year, but none them has made public here on drupal.org.
I have been looking for a membership fee module to one of my sites that I run, it's for my online gaming clan. And I was looking around here on drupal.org for a module and I found Feemanager. I tried it out and it had some things that I was looking for, but it was missing some for me important features.
Then I started looking at the source code, to see if I could modify it by myself for my purpose. But I found out this module was long from finished, lots of out commented code and todo's and (not to complain) but some mistakes and bad coding.
Why I'm writing to you is because, I feel that I can help you with that module, to improve it and to finish it. All if it's okay with you.
So in short I am applying to be your co-maintainer on the Feemanager project.

zulfierken commentedHi I am also planning to use this module in school finance administration. But I need drupal 7 version with some more functions.. If you do not mind I would like to write some of my opinions and needs from this module.
1- Fee type table is really fine but adding fee default to everybody is not nice. Instead using groups might be matter. For example this is default for group A, that is default for group b and so on.
2- we can give special discounts to the members where we need a second edit of fee type. Also members would like to pay in 2 or 3 installments and fee type can be edit accordingly. Fees can be assigned as an invoice and these can be edited for discount and other options.
3- there might be a receipt section once the payment is done via cash, credit card or whatever.
4- program can print out the receipt and show payment history or even can list overdue ones.
Finally, I used php before and I am new in drupal. I would like to work together with you. I can share my ideas my tables and prepare the invoice pdf codes and so on. Unfortunately, I do not know a lot about the module functions.
