In my search of getting rid of all "node references" I stumbled upon a problem with your link...

currently you use /node/50/print
I would love to have /print/50

just like your collegues:
/comment/reply/50
/forward/50
/subscriptions/add/node/4
/nodevote/50/add

This is a change too radical for the 4.7 branch module. I will fix this soon on the 5.0 branch.
