Maybe I completely missed this, but what happens to the Drupal users when they go to comment? Their avatar and profile information won't show up on this commenting system.

If a Drupal user is logged in all other options to login should not be shown. I'm guessing this is something that is more on the Disqus side of things though.

I can see how people would use this for a Drupal site that doesn't have a user base, aka a blog site, but for drupal sites that have heavy user interaction, this can't be implemented. Are there any future plans to actually integrate this into Drupal?

I was wondering the same and if someone posts a comment do they become a user on the drupal site?

Subscribing. As far as I know, Disqus currently does not offer any direct sync with the Drupal database (read: user community). It's completely third-party. However, the Wordpress equivalent does offer some synchronization so perhaps it's possible in the future.
