Maybe I completely missed this, but what happens to the Drupal users when they go to comment? Their avatar and profile information won't show up on this commenting system.
If a Drupal user is logged in all other options to login should not be shown. I'm guessing this is something that is more on the Disqus side of things though.
I can see how people would use this for a Drupal site that doesn't have a user base, aka a blog site, but for drupal sites that have heavy user interaction, this can't be implemented. Are there any future plans to actually integrate this into Drupal?

brewthis commentedSubscribing. As far as I know, Disqus currently does not offer any direct sync with the Drupal database (read: user community). It's completely third-party. However, the Wordpress equivalent does offer some synchronization so perhaps it's possible in the future.
