Drupalancers Expands to DrupalYellowPages.com

Hi All

Thanks to all of you who have been using Drupalancers.com.

We are in the process of launching a new website - DrupalYellowPages.com. We hope this site will provide listings of all companies and freelancers working with Drupal.

The purpose of this site is the opposite of Drupalancers.com. Whereas Drupalancers.com allows you to find a Drupal expert anywhere in the world, DrupalYellowPages.com allows you to find people close to your business. A lot of companies want face-to-face training and consulation - we hope this is the solution.

Signing up is free and if you use Maporama.com, you can enter your Longitude and Latitude and place your company's marker on the map.

We welcome any feedback via support@drupalyellowpages.com.

I signed up the company I worked for, but when I noticed a typo, I edited the entry and apparently created a duplicate - when I attempted to view either duplicate I ended up with a

DB function failed with error number 1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '' at line 1 SQL=update jos_content set metakey='', metadesc='' where id= The page you are trying to access does not exist.
Please select a page from the main menu.

Still, a great idea and something I'm looking forward to seeing running and fully populated.

Thanks Squidgy - can we claim we're doing a Google and still in Beta?

When the listing is approved the extra copy disappears, but its a bug we need to squash.

Any plans to move both sites to Drupal? Since they are both Drupal specific it might be a good move. But, that's just my opinion.

The two sites run at under breakeven point. If the interest is there from the community and people are willing to get involved it can be done. PM us if interested.

We believe its important for people wanting to use Drupal to easily be able to find companies to help them, and the more context and feedback about those firms thats available, the better.
