I have checked everything but still can't make it work. I don't know if you guys having any troubles with markitup 1.1.8.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Ok, I seem to solve it myself though I'm not sure if there is any other bugs. What I have to do is go to jquery.markitup.js, delete some lines from line 165
