Module Buffet Shutterspike.com

I am a drupal noob, but I created this website to share local photo locations and props. It uses views, location, filefield, lightbox to name a few (probably nearly 30 modules in all). I need advice on how to make the site more streamlined. It feels very bulky right now. I am getting many hits but no interaction with the content (content creation...ect)

Re: Module Buffet Shutterspike.com

Nice and useful site - I have to say.

Drupal can easily get bulky as you add more modules. But there are proven ways to make Drupal sites more responsive. There was a post only a few minutes ago (http://drupal.org/node/901408) which has got some good tips. So please check that. If you don't want to get into too much site optimization, then you can also consider going with a specialist Drupal hosting company (See http://drupal.org/hosting). Recently people seem to have gotten quite satisfied with a company called hotdrupal (www.hotdrupal.com). I have never used them though. If you do want to go with a dedicated Drupal host, then first ask them if they'll be willing to optimize your site (for somekind of fee of course :) . Hope this helps.

I like it alot! How did you
