this patch allowed me to play realvideo, quicktime and flash video on our site under windows (IE/FF), mac (FF/Safari) and Linux (FF). all with video, audio and visible player (except no sound for QT on Linux + FF but i can can't get that working on any other sites, so it's probably just my setup and not an issue).

there are also some minor documentaion corrections.

hi elraun,

thank you for you work and patch.

However you used the embed tag on the real player code.
Embed tag is not valid XHTML code then break W3 validity of the code.

Please try to find a XHTML compatible solution for this and I will commit your patch.
