Hi,

I am trying to install Drupal on my universities host. I followed all the instructions in the INSTALL.txt (copying the default.settings.php, changing permissions etc.). I manually inputed the mysql database info into the settings.php file.

Basically what happens is when I try to install it gets stuck after the database is configured. So it is stuck on the Install site page (see: http://db.tt/a41qNi8), with no errors given nothing. Doesn't proceed to the Configure site page.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Could you check the php error logs?
Maybe you will find some useful info there.

Does Drupal create an install log? If not I am not able to access the php folders since it is hosted on the university webspace.

I have the same problem, the weird thing is no errors are shown. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. It's on the "Installation du site" step (French version)

Just tried a fresh install this morning and it gets to the Install site page and shows "Welcome" and that is all.

What gives? I've installed Drupal on this host previously without issue.

Please check if you're using the openbasedir variable in your php.ini.

I know this is an old post. ihave the same issue. It says drupal installation 100% and frezzed there . wasnt gonig to configure site. So, closed and open the install.php again and then it gives just a blank page.
