Drupal's pagination style is pretty good, but it doesn't show you what number the last page in the results is. Some sites, including Flickr, have a pagination style that I think is preferable, and Byrne Reese recently released a library that produces this pagination style (screenshot on that page; download from Google Code).

It would be good if Drupal's pagination could be brought into line with this style of output.

I regularly hover over the 'last' link in pagers to find out how many pages there are, which is a workaround behavior Drupal folks have gotten used to, so not great UX.

The pagination style being suggested above is:

Only local images are allowed.
