Just was wondering if there was any update on when Drupal 7 Beta will be available? Read an article back at the end of July that had Dries (Buytaert) commenting that Drupal 7 Beta would be out the first week of August...and nothing yet (September 5th)--not even a hint to when the Beta will come out. I was totally shocked nothing was mentioned (at least from what I read) during DrupalCon Copenhagen when it (the Beta version) will be made available for us Drupal Lovers?

Can someone give us a little clue?

This is also out of date but gives some more info http://drupal.org/drupal-7.0-alpha6. It was just "a release" that was planned for August (hopefully a beta). I suspect there are one or two "beta blocking" issues that have not been fixed yet.

I believe one of the requirements for the beta release is that upgrading works, and looking over the critical issues, there's a few upgrade issues there.
