I'm wondering,
I have created some 4 categories under which I will post stories...
now, I want to have a "tagadelic cloud" in my leftmenu that shows terms that are used a lot on my site?
or am I not understanding what this tagadelic really does?
if I only have 4 categories, is it impossible to use tagadelic ?
Help me out here guys, I really like this tagadelic cloud, but don't really know how it is generated :)

You should be able to see
You should be able to see something show up here, if you have proper tags/terms created: http://yoursite.com/tagadelic
to see that on the side bar, you need to enable the block thru: administer->block->tags in (category name)

Do you actually have some
Do you actually have some content published that contain those terms? I believe the module walks thru the nodes and figure out what tags have been used, no tagged content then no output. Also we have been using it only for free taggings not for pre-defined terms. I'm not sure if it makes a difference in terms of display, but I think it is the purpose of the tagadelic to "discover" what terms have been used by others. It is based on the concept of folksonomy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folksonomy (vs. controlled vocabulary - taxonomy)
