Broken in IE

The spy effect seems to be broken in IE. Works great in FF and Chrome.

I've attached an example of the issues. Basically the spy adds the next item to the top, but does not add it as a full item. Instead, it adds the title only in non-linked text and continues to add the next item immediately before it, ignoring the styling. I have tried this with both the module's styling and the theme's styling.
