The Denver Public Library used Drupal for their Creating Communities web site which is research oriented. The Creating Communities project is a great example of using Drupal for Library and Museum web sites that includes integration with common digital asset managers and internal library systems.

Information about the project management and development process is provided in the article and is valuable for other Libraries and Museums to use as a case study.

1. A like to the site should be in the teaser - usually the first paragraph.

2. Images should be 30-60kb in size

Otherwise I like it.

I created smaller images by using jpeg compression instead of png. The image tags in the forum post would need to modified accordingly.

Should I resubmit the html in a new forum post or are you able to modify it for me?

How do I submit the teaser mentioned in #1?

you can edit your own posts until we change to input format to show the images. There's a tab at the top of the node page - or just visit http://drupal.org/node/903926/edit

I have corrected some typos and updated the image tags to use the smaller jpg files.

I also added links to the first paragraph as you recommended and the images also link to the web site.

Do you have any other recommendations?

I made some additional tweaks and enabled the images. This gets a +1 from me, and once we get at least one more +1 from another webmaster/site maintainer, I'd be more than happy to add it to the schedule for promotion.

I have found a couple typos in the Article and I would like to update the A tags to point to the new/permanent URL.

First the typos:
Please modify (it's) to (its) in the second paragraph and the first sentence in the Using Drupal as a Content Management System section.

Secondly the links:
Please update the links that point to http://creatingcommunities-denverlibrary.org to http://creatingcommunities.denverlibrary.org. This includes the A tags around the images and the Creating Communities link in the teaser (first paragraph).

Please let me know if I should submit the modified html.
