I downloaded and enabled Magic Menus recently, and it works fine within the administration menu, but I've been unable to get it to work with a new menu I created.

What I did was create a new menu and named it "topics." I have 5 main "vocabulary" items created under categories, and under each vocabulary are a list of tags that can be selected when submitting a story. For example, one vocabulary item is called Fruit, and one of the "terms" or tags under that is banana. What I'm trying to do is have the 5 vocabulary items show up in the new menu under topics, and when each vocabulary(category) is clicked, the Magic Menus module will expand to show the "terms" or tags that users can click to directly view storylinks with that tag.

So... what it should eventually look like is:

TOPICS (menu name)
View All
-Industry & General (vocabulary or category #1)
-Photos & Videos (term #1)
-Advertising & Marketing (term #2)
-Shows & Events (vocabulary or category #2)
-Local (term #3)
-National (term #4)

So far, I created a menu item titled Industry & General and then another menu item titled Photos & Videos, choosing Industry & General as the parent item, and so on. When I refresh, there is a little triangle next to Industry & General, making it look like you can click it and have it expand, but it doesn't. Am I doing something wrong, or is there another module I need to download?

This module REQUIRES the S/P Ajax module

during installation of S/P Ajax.module you will need to install it's dependency as well, which is the scriptalicious library.

Sorry, I should've clarified that I already downloaded everything necessary for Magic Menus to work. It is currently working already, but only for the navigation menu.

Update... It seems to be working now, but upon expanding the vocabulary/category, the first item that shows is the same link to the vocabulary/category.

So now, I get this:

TOPICS (menu name)
View All
-Industry & General (vocabulary or category #1)
-Industry & General (***this is being repeated for some reason)
-Photos & Videos (term #1)
-Advertising & Marketing (term #2)
-Shows & Events (vocabulary or category #2)
-Local (term #3)
-National (term #4)

In the menu administration, is there anything I can put in the path field so that the link doesn't actually lead anywhere, so that clicking it will simply expand it?

You might need to go back into magic menu and do the expand menu thing each time add items.

Also I'm not sure if the bugs have been sorted out or not, but the last time I had a play with magic menu it didn't work with IE.
