I am getting a lot of these errors on a site, after running Xenu Link Checker:

http://www.myzerona.com/image_captcha/1213222307 error code: 204 (no info to return), linked from page(s): http://www.myzerona.com/blog/health-watch-zerona-myfox-atlanta 

http://www.myzerona.com/image_captcha/1254195583 error code: 204 (no info to return), linked from page(s): http://www.myzerona.com/blog/dr-king-demonstrates-power-zerona-rachel-ray

How can I avoid getting these errors?

Are you sure you are using CAPTCHA version 6.x-2.2?
If your image CAPTCHA urls are of the form "example.com/image_captcha/1044026238", I think you are using CAPTCHA 6.x-1.x.
With 6.x-2.2 you should get urls of the form "example.com/image_captcha/432/1044026238"

Do you think these 204's would go away if we updated to 6.x-2.2?

Actually, why are you still using 6.x-1.0-rc2 when there is a version 6.x-2.2 already?

The site hasn't had that module updated yet. There is nothing special about the version we are using.
