Enter a path in a Block (e.g. "internal:user").
Save the Block.
Edit the Block.
The path is still shown as "internal:user" and not as "http://example.com/user".

If I follow the same procedure when saving/editing a node I get the expected result ("internal:user" displays as "http://example.com/user").

I think you have the same issue as here : http://drupal.org/node/486584, you may check if you have correctly configure your display setting in : /admin/settings/filters
It was my case and and lose some time for understand this.

Internal path filter is the top item (lowest weight). It appears before HTML corrector.

The module is working correctly for my nodes, but not for blocks.

I can't reproduce this. Conversion happens as expected in the block.
