Checkbox filter and Module filter

Hey

these two don't seem to go well.
in modules page, if you have both enabled, there will be two textboxes available to filter modules.

in content types, there is also a textbox to filter options, but it doesn't work in my setup.

what if this module did only filtering for Views?
as is, i have to disable it because it's cluttering the interface in many places.
