Hello, I use the CCK Imagecrop field widget wich is almost like the imagefield widget with cropping on the fly options. It would be very nice to add support of that CCK widget type to Feeds Image Grabber.

Hi,

It won't be much work to add this, but will you be really able to automate image cropping using this? As I understand, it is a interactive CCK widget in which you will have to manually select the area to crop. It will mean that you have to edit every node to do that. Is this what you want?

If there is no crop data, imagefield_crop treats it as the entire image. At least that is my understanding.

I'm looking into implementing this for a project I'm working on, will report back with results. Any hints as to where to start looking in the module.
