Placement of crossdomain.xml

I tried nearly everything to get this working but I always get the info to place the crossdomain in the right folder. Maybe you can give a hint.

My website address is www.scceishockey.de. The site itself is located in a folder below the root folder. To get this done I added a .htaccess file to ensure the redirection. Also in case somebody typed in scceishockey.de he is redirect to the web folder below the root.

I can copy the file to the root and also in the subfolder where the website resides. No luck.

When I enter http://www.scceishockey.de/crossdomain.xml the file is displayed
When I enter http://scceishockey.de/crossdomain.xml NO file is displayed. I assume the URL is redirected via the .htaccess file but the question can that also be the reason that Cooliris misses the file?
